Theresa Allen
Jack of all Fitness
Personal Trainer and RYT
I began working as a fitness professional in 1999 when I began as an Aerobics Instructor. By 2001 I was enrolled in college to begin earning my bachelors degree in exercise science from Suffield University. During that time I also became certified as a personal trainer with AFAA. Over the years I participated in many trainings and earned numerous certificates becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher, Stott Mat Pilates level 1, Zumba, Zumba Gold, TRX Suspension training and RIP trainer, Barre Fitness, and I even created and choreographed my own group class called "Street Step". Personally my athletic background began as a child in dance and acrobats, by my early 20s I competed in Amateur boxing for Western Mass Golden Gloves, more recently I did women's Figure competitions for both OCB and INBF. Currently I still work out 6 days a week but I'm busy running my small fitness studio. I am invested in helping all ages and abilities of fitness to become the healthiest versions of themselves. I believe having the extensive background in fitness that I possess gives me an edge with the ability to customize very creative workouts and programs to enable my clients of any population to safely reach their goals.
