Shayla is a certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. With over eight years of experience, she has helped countless clients achieve their goals, from weight loss to gaining strength and toning through lifestyle changes, personalized nutrition, and supplement support.
Her passion for health began with her own struggles with weight and low self-confidence. After hiring a personal trainer herself, her life transformed, leading to the confidence and educational background she holds today. Shayla's background in bikini bodybuilding and placing top five in her class she understands the hard work and diligence required to achieve goals, and is passionate about empowering women to do the same in a way that fits sustainably into their busy lives.
She emphasizes balanced nutrition, mindset development, and creates personalized exercise plans that bring joy and fun to clients routine. In addition to her background in functional medicine and gut health, she can customize recipes for any dietary preferences needed. As a soon-to-be new mom, she has also introduced pelvic floor recovery workouts to optimize core strength and stability for her clients.
Shayla’s extensive experience and knowledge have shown her that health is not a one-size-fits-all approach. She focuses on the bio-individual needs of each client, with the mission to guide them in becoming their most fit, confident, and empowered selves!
Shayla was born and raised in Texas. She is the fur mama of two playful dogs and has a new baby girl on the way. She loves being active and being outside in the sunshine. She values family and quality time with her husband. Together, they love experiencing new foods and doing home projects!
