I used to struggle with an eating disorder. That’s right, you heard me! It all started at the beginning of high school and ended at the tail end of college. Binging, gluttony, overeating, food addictions, you name it. It wasn’t pretty… and it also led me into dark episodes of depression and isolation. Does your story sound familiar? Trust me. By obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology along with a NASM Nutrition certification, I was able to not only change my habit patterns and beliefs about food, but I was also able to get into the best shape of my life all while overcoming my food addiction and depression simultaneously. In terms of overall body composition, I’ve been able to bring my body fat % down to sub 10% via DEXA scan testing. Even with those wins, I gotta tell you my personal favorite one. I’ve even been able to save HUNDREDS OF $$$ on food EVERY SINGLE MONTH. And now? I’m helping dozens of other people to improve their relationships with food, save more money, and achieve the physique they’ve always wanted!
