Fitness became important to me in my late 20’s when I almost threw my back out sitting in my car taking my kids to their bus stop. I hadn’t been working out for a year due to an international move and 4 kids 6 years old and under. I started working out 30 minutes everyday (including 1 active rest yoga day) and did a real food challenge for 7 days. That ignited my passion and love for nutrition/fitness. Fast forward to 10 years later, I finally decided to become a certified personal trainer. Maintaining a strong core, building glutes/hamstrings, and balance are some of my favorite things to work on! Especially since I had 4 kids (first 2 were twins) 😉. I have always had a heart for helping people and teaching others how to build sustainable lifelong healthy habits. It truly makes my heart sing. My coaching strengths are helping others understand the ‘why’ behind nutrition/ fitness and how to apply that knowledge for shedding those unwanted pounds, but most importantly, to feel comfortable in their own skin.
