For most of my life, I tried every diet on the market. Some would work, but nothing sustained! Had I known then what I know now, I would’ve saved a lot of time and wasted energy. A “quick fix†is what we all want, right? Nope. As I have aged, I have gotten smarter and better with my health. I became a NASM trainer to learn more for myself first, and then to have the qualifications to share what I learned. I have always loved to be active. I come from a large family and one of our regular after dinner activities was to go to the nearest school and walk or run the track. My parents were avid exercisers who believed in the value of movement and taking care of our bodies. As a role model for my children and now grandchildren, I want to show how valuable good health is. Especially as we age, the importance of building strength and mobility is crucial to remaining independent. I have had enough struggles to last a lifetime but as I have learned the struggles/challenges are what makes us stronger and better. It is in these struggles, where we can relate better to others. The satisfaction of overcoming fear of something is everything! What you BELIEVE is what you’ll BECOME! What you want is on the other side of saying “YES!â€
