Throughout my life, I’ve faced the challenge of being overweight, starting in third grade when a blunt comment about my weight led to a strict physical routine and a complicated relationship with food that I still struggle with today. Over time, I’ve learned what works for my body, focusing on patience, self-compassion, and consistency to lose fat and maintain strength. However, my journey took a difficult turn after multiple knee surgeries, which forced me to rethink my diet and workout routine. I had to adapt to exercises that worked around my limitations while still progressing. These experiences, along with over 10 years of coaching kids and adults soccer of all levels and six years of serious lifting, have given me a deeper understanding of fitness, resilience, and the importance of adjusting to life's challenges. Now, I’m committed to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals, no matter where they are in their journey.
