Often, the most difficult steps to take in anything we pursue worthwhile in life is that first step. This is true of exercise training for many people. It is common to hear of enthusiastic people eager to begin a training program and then having that enthusiasm fizzle out gradually as he or she gets closer to the start date. There will always be 1001 reasons floating around that lead many to abandon a program soon after it begins if it begins at all. That's not always the individual's fault. Their intentions were in the right place, but in one form or another, life happened. I know this because even despite my best intentions, sometimes life does step up momentarily, causing me to change direction, which is just a facet of life. But excuses are just that---excuses. Looking and feeling great as a result of fun, consistent training can help us cope better, do more, and improve our sense of self-value not only for ourselves but for those we cherish! Progressing is a matter of taking small, consistent steps. Whether in person or online, personal training is a great place to begin the journey. Online, it's convenient, no traffic jams, all geographical locations welcome, it's direct and as easy as operating a smartphone. An exercise coach can play an integral role in the puzzle to keep you straight, motivated, and accountable when the rigors or life get in the way. Working with an online coach is not too much different than working with a coach in real time other than the feedback loop from the coach is not always as immediate. So, to make up for it, I rely on videos of you that allow me to assess your body imbalances, technique, and training style. This way, we can make tweaks as necessary to keep your program progressive, safe, and goal driven.
