PROFILE I am a certified personal trainer with 14 years of experience. Given my nature, it is only with great reluctance that I am able to turn away from the challenges and growth opportunities provided by training every type of individual under the sun. But I choose to focus my attention upon those with whom I do my best work. This tends to be educated women and men between the ages of 40 and 60 looking to improve body composition and take charge of their health. Typically, they have been disappointed by the medical community and sense that there is a better way, but are lacking any kind of direction. In addition to almost always being a good-fit personality wise, this category of client tends to be extremely receptive to my nutritional and training ideologies as well. I am very passionate about serving those that allow themselves to make significant progress with my methods, and in turn, invite me to become a major part of their lives. When this occurs not only do they undergo a metamorphosis into a supremely healthy and vibrant being but I am also inevitably filled with a positivity that gets used to inspire and influence even more people and also which provides tremendous motivation to continue to develop both professionally and personally so that I can best do the work that I know I’m meant to perform. BACKGROUND As someone who struggled with weight throughout his childhood and early teens, Daniel is a health and wellness professional that is particularly well suited to understand many of the difficulties encountered by individuals seeking his help. Daniel's fitness journey began while in graduate school, where he discovered that running was a great way to relieve stress. Shortly thereafter he began working out with weights to compliment his 60 mile-a-week running addiction. Eventually strength training and nutrition became his obsessions. Daniel has received two nationally recognized personal training certifications: ACE and NCSF CPT. In 2010 he began training professionally and has since helped numerous clients. When designing and implementing personal training programs Daniel takes a very individualized approach. Each person is unique with their own set of goals, physical constraints and personality traits. Therefore, it is his belief that the most effective programs, as well as their execution, are those that fully embrace these unique objectives and characteristics, and at the same time correct the limitations of that particular individual’s body.
