Brittany Bolella
Lifestyle Transformation Coach
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Connecticut. There wasn’t too much to do in our town growing up, so I spent my youth doing gymnastics several hours per day six days per week at Daggett’s Gymnastics in MA. When I entered high school I became a three-season athlete, participating in volleyball, indoor track, and outdoor track. I still hold the 800m outdoor track and field record to this day; I just learned that this year! I earned my double Bachelors in Social Work and Sociology from Fordham University where I walked on the track team during my junior year. I earned my Masters in Social Work from Rutgers the following year in an advanced standing program. After five years of wearing multiple social work hats, including hospital social worker and foster care social worker, I decided to dive into the fitness industry full-time. I had already achieved my Level 1 Trainer Certificate from CrossFit and began teaching CrossFit classes and taking on private clients. I’ve always been a lifelong learner, so since my inception as a trainer I’ve completed multiple courses including but not limited to biomechanics, anatomy, and various forms of strength and conditioning. It was always my goal to combine my social work degree with my passion for health and wellness, so as a personal trainer I specialized in training clients with chronic illnesses. I worked with clients with multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, anxiety and depression and other mental health matters, gastroparesis, and much more. I’ve also taken a five-month long course in holistic wellness, and I’m very passionate about mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellness for my clients. I subscribe to the philosophy of “treating the whole person” meaning, training and nutrition are so much more than training and nutrition! Everyone deserves to love themselves (as cliche as it may sound). Big changes begin with small steps of self-love and self-care on a consistent basis. My goal for you is to make healthy living an EASY part of your life. What's hard is easy if you catch my drift :). To take the “stress” out of it and FINALLY feel and see results, without feeling restricted. I don’t want you to see this as another diet and exercise plan, rather, I want this to be your new lifestyle.
