When I first stepped foot into a gym, I was overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. I did mostly cardio and started getting into weightlifting a bit, but I didn’t understand the proper techniques to help me reach my goals, and I didn’t feel connected with my body. I was consistent with going, but I learned a lot of things the hard way. Despite the challenges, I discovered small successes, that strengthened my resolve to conquer one of the most daunting things on my bucket list; to run a marathon, training was hard, and I had to sacrifice a lot to get to that finish line, but it changed how I thought aboutfitness. It’s so much more than a number on a scale, or a time on a clock. It’s the small daily habits where I began to develop self discipline, and the confidence that I can do whatever I set my mind to. I want to be the trainer for you that I wished I had when I started. My goal is to help you avoid the pitfalls that often hinder progression towards your goals, forge a strong connection with your body, and help you realize your potential, not only in the gym, but in anything you decide to pursue!
